About WED
Riverside Community College District Workforce & Economic Development (WED) is committed to advancing regional economic growth and workforce competitiveness through our strategic partnerships and innovative workforce services, providing high quality training and supports to foster individual and organizational success in the following ways:

- Building and sustaining strategic partnerships with business, labor, government,
nonprofit and other educational and community-based organizations to improve job creation,
business attraction, retention and development.
- Offering a variety of industry-standard training for employers requiring skilling,
upskilling and reskilling to meet current and future workforce demands in an ever-changing
marketplace.
- Providing entrepreneurs with coaching and tech-nical assistance, procurement, and
government contracting training for developing new products, contracts and services
in partnership with public and private businesses, agencies, and programs.
- Advancing workforce development programs and services in partnership with our three
colleges (Moreno Valley College, Norco College, and Riverside City College), providing
our diverse communities with access to education, training, and supportive services
leading to self-sufficiency and improved economic mobility.
- Building and sustaining strategic partnerships with business, labor, government,
nonprofit and other educational and community-based organizations to improve job creation,
business attraction, retention and development.
