WED is committed to helping budding entrepreneurs and established businesses alike. We provide both no- and low-cost training through our UpSkill Employment Training Services in a variety of key areas for business success, including development of employability skills, safety training, computer proficiency, and industry-specific training. About the Employment Training Panel (ETP)

The Employment Training Panel (ETP) is a state agency that reimburses employers for the cost of customized job skills training. RCCD, as a Multiple Employer Contractor (MEC), will deliver training programs designed to meet the specific needs of both small businesses and large corporations across the region.

RCCD can customize training to individual employers’ needs, addressing essential workforce skills through topics that include:

- - - - Business Skills: Sales, Customer Service
      - Computer Skills: CAD, MRP/ERP Systems, Cybersecurity
      - Commercial Skills: Non-Manufacturing Processes
      - Manufacturing Skills: Equipment and Processes
      - Continuous Improvement: SPC, Project Management, ISO Standards
      - Safety Skills: Hazardous Materials Handling, OSHA10/30 Compliance
      - Management and Leadership Skills
      - Literacy and Remedial Skills: Job-Related Literacy Development

Training formats include traditional classroom/laboratory sessions, video conference-led e-learning, and employer-provided trainers. Facilities for training can range from employer sites to RCCD’s regional centers, ensuring flexibility to meet a variety of business needs.
