Riverside Community College District (RCCD) is leading the way in apprenticeship education with our Apprenticeship Building America (ABA) Grant Program, which LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network is the primary subawardee. Funded by a $4.7 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, our Building Access and Opportunity in Inland Southern California’s Apprenticeship System Project is dedicated to transforming the region’s workforce and expanding opportunities for all.

Our Mission

Our project is designed to:

• • • Expand Regional Apprenticeship Capacity: We aim to increase the availability and quality of apprenticeship programs across the Inland Empire, providing more pathways for individuals to gain the skills needed for high-demand careers.
    • Invest in Leadership Development: By nurturing the leadership within our apprenticeship management teams, we ensure the sustainability and growth of these vital programs.
    • Diversify Employers and Industries: We’re broadening the scope of apprenticeship opportunities by engaging employers from diverse industries, ensuring that the benefits of apprenticeship are felt across all sectors.
    • Serve Underrepresented Populations: We're committed to inclusivity by actively recruiting and supporting populations historically underrepresented in apprenticeship programs, providing them with access to life-changing career opportunities.
    • Integrate Apprenticeship into Higher Education: RCCD is working to make apprenticeship a cornerstone of our region’s higher education system, offering students a unique blend of classroom learning and hands-on experience.
